Jennifer Hudson had us feeling fabulous with her Pharrell-produced single "I Can't Describe (The Way I Feel)" and its '80s throwback flavor. For her follow-up, the songstress steps back into this decade with a little help from that other Virginia-born superproducer, Timbaland, for "Walk It Out." While the way that "I Can't Describe" made us feel was nearly indescribable, it's easier to find the appropriate word for this track: basic. That's not to say that it doesn't have any good qualities. JHud's flair for sass is on full display here, and Timbo gifted the singer with a track that has a good enough amount of bounce and knock. However, the lyrics (or lack thereof) and forced swearing here demote it to just a notch above the ratchetry of The Real Hip Hop Basketball Wives of Houstatlantavegas. Luckily for Jen, her charm elevates this above being better suited for Khia's upcoming R&B album. But how will you feel about JHud being on her "hood s**t"? Take a listen to "Walk It Out" and see for yourself.
