Lord knows how much we love the vocal stylings of Lalah Hathaway, and at BET's Celebration of Gospel 2014 Lalah got to show just how much she loved the Lord. The legendary songbird with the touched-by-an-angel vocals took the stage to perform alongside Zacardi Cortez for a medley of their duet "Every Promise" and a tandem performance of Zacardi's "1 on 1." While words cannot express how amazing Lalah is vocally (though "incredible," "soul-stirring," "unrivaled" and "awe-inspiring" do spring to mind), Zacardi wasn't too shabby himself, holding his own in the presence of Lalah's greatness and letting out some impressive runs of his own. But, in the end, all the glory was for God as they sang His praises together before Lalah ended the performance by singing one of her now-signature chords (which even made Zacardi shout).
