Little Dragon Bring Their Unique Sound Back To Coachella

2014 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival - Day 3

A lot of things kept me from going to this Coachella this past weekend (mostly my allergy to hipsters and my lack of funds), but all the footage from this weekend has me regretting my choice and wondering where I went wrong in life. To further rub salt in my wounds, I discovered this video of Swedish electro-pop-soul crew Little Dragon absolutely killing their set at week one of the festival. With just a month to go before their Nabuma Rubberband hit stores, LD hit the stage at Coachella armed with new songs from the set, including "Klapp Klapp," "Paris," "Killing Me" and a few more. The new songs were weaved in among their older material from previous albums, including "Ritual Union," "Please Turn" and "Little Man."

Yukimi Nagano, rocking either a literal fishtail dress or the latest in insect couture, sounded great and the band, as usual, stayed on point during the entire 50-minute set. Though material from their first two albums didn't get any play this go around, the guys and gal still rocked the house and left us yearning to get our hands on the future funk of Nabuma Rubberband when it hits stores. If you were like me and didn't attend last weekend, don't beat yourself up. Check out what you missed right here.
