It's safe to say that Sam Smith is really enjoying life right now. Even though his debut album isn't set to drop until May 26th, after a successful North American tour run, he's set to return to his native UK for another set of tour dates, many of which have already sold out. Add to that, the Bounce-Worthy alum brought his music to the Saturday Night Live stage last month where he performed his singles "Stay With Me" and "Lay Me Down." And this is all before his debut album, In the Lonely Hour, has even been released.

While it's his soaring vocals that have largely contributed to this rising star's success, his guest spots on hit songs such as Disclosure's "Latch" and Naughty Boy's "La La La" have provided the perfect vehicle to bring his talents to the masses. It's the latter guest turn that brought Smith back to Big Apple to perform on TODAY as part of their Toyota Concert Series. The duo performed their hit song on the show this morning. "La La La," taken from Naughty Boy's 2013 album, Hotel Cabana, has already amassed nearly 300 million hits on YouTube. Per usual, Smith's voice was in top form, even for such an early morning call time. Viewers will get the chance the check out the two do their thing later tonight when they perform the song on the Late Show with David Letterman.
