Last night Pharrell Williams appeared on Oprah Prime with Oprah Winfrey and gave his fans a detailed look into his entire life. This amazingly in-depth interview had Pharrell going into his early life with family in Virginia, how he met Neptunes partner Chad Hugo in the seventh grade (how adorable!), his big break with Teddy Riley and making his first hit ("Rump Shaker" by Wreckx-N-Effect for the unaware).
The revealing interview not only touched on Pharrell's past, but explored his present as Oprah got P to open up about his marriage to Helen Lasichanh (who surprised her man with birthday cupcakes at the beginning of the interview), address the Robin Thicke "Blurred Lines" and his own G I R L album cover controversies, become emotional when presented with the true impact of his Oscar-nominated "Happy" and so much more. This was one jam-packed, informative and downright fun interview -- when you see Oprah act as if she has NEVER heard A Tribe Called Quest's "Scenario" before, it's HILARIOUS. If you missed this on OWN, then carve out some time and watch it right now. You'll be happy you did.
