The self-proclaimed Elusive Chanteuse Mariah Carey will have a little something for everyone on her upcoming album, Me. I Am Mariah. If you like your Mariah with a little hip-hop edge, then she is taking us straight to the club/trap with "Thirsty" featuring Rich Homie Quan. She unveiled her newest single this morning on Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club morning show outta NYC and being broadcast to the world on Revolt. "Thirsty" is a catchy, hood-friendly anthem that you'll likely hear blasting out of car stereos all summer long  and used to describe many men and their thirstiness, one of whom Mariah reads for filth in the pretty basic lyrics. The track has a twerk-ready syncopated beat, a repetitive presence by Rich Homie Quan who sounds like Future-lite and it's definitely something to turn up to. For the kind of song that it is, it works for Mimi, even if its flavor doesn't necessarily quench your thirst for good music.
