D-Money: And somehow we’re back at this weird intersection of heartbreak and gospel.
Butta: Well, it’s a remake of “One More Try,” what’d you expect? George Michael took it to church from the get-go.
D-Money: Why’d I just make that connection? I was wondering why I knew the words. *looks around the room sheepishly*
Butta: I think this photo best describes the way I’m looking at you right now.
D-Money: I should be ashamed, I know. So should Mariah, because her take is kinda mediocre.
Butta: It’s an adequate remake, but it does lack some luster. Imagine if 1994 Mariah sang this song?

Butta: Yes, Gawd!
- Advertisement -D-Money: Alas, we’re stuck with the 2014 version. Still, MC should’ve known that if you do a cover, it has to be just as good as or better than the original.
Butta: Right, or go far left and bring something entirely new and unique to it.

Butta: Yeah, that bothered me.
- Advertisement -D-Money: This was actually the first time on the album that I was bored. Even the songs that I don’t like on the album are at least entertaining. This is just drowsy.
Butta: Oh, but don’t go to sleep yet, there’s more than enough songs to do that to to come!
