It's hard to believe that it's been nearly five years since Michael Jackson's untimely passing and even more unbelievable that his second posthumous album, XSCAPE, will be released on Tuesday (May 13th). But before that set's release, Urban Noize wants to take us back down memory lane with their spin on MJ's 2001 chart-topper "You Rock My World." Instead of making it sound more modern, though, the song instead harkens back to Michael's Off the Wall/Thriller heyday with warm bass and instrumentation reminiscent of "Baby Be Mine" that complements Michael's vocal quite nicely. So, while we look forward to XSCAPE offering us a few tracks from the King of Pop that we might not have heard before, we're grateful to Urban Noize for revitalizing one of our MJ favorites and giving us yet another reason to give it a spin.
