Known as the First Lady of the Chocolate City's most influential go-go band, the Backyard Band, Lysette Titi is putting her talents and treasures as a solo artist on display with the release of her single "Leap," from her forthcoming album. With the harmonious collaboration of lithe percussion and sleek vocals, this groove-laden song weaves the simplicity with the complexity of falling in love. The flow of "Leap" is reminiscent of '90s R&B when it was sultry and silky, and puts one in a Love Jones-esque mood. Although Lysette is not in control of her heart in "Leap," through her canorous arrangement she is control of this track.
