MNEK has been busy busy busy this year with his own material and crafting magic with other artists (I'm diggin' the scene that is Kylie Minogue's "Feels So Good" at current). He works some supernatural wonderment with Roses Gabor, as he dips her in a vat of static future soul on her latest, "Rush." Last we heard from Miss Gabor was through the slow crawls of her debut 2012 single "Stars" and her most recent stunner "For You...." For "Rush" things are still deliciously nocturnal, but this time we get more vibrancy in the chorus as it wave crashes into walls of synths as it twinkles on a vintage slow jam vibe. While this isn't the flashiest MNEK collaboration we've come across, he sets Roses Gabor up nicely. "Rush" comes by way of a lyric visual, and it's packed with abstract, dream-like visuals that don't really make much sense collectively, but more so set the mood if you're looking for a moment of zen with this electric soul number as its backing soundtrack.
