Kelly Rowland & Spike Lee Show Us How To Play 'The Game'

If you need something to pump your fist to during the first few days of the 2014 World Cup, Kelly Rowland is here to help. Her latest single "The Game" just got the Spike Lee treatment in a new video, which features a warm and fuzzy story that will give you a case of happiness and triumph. A young boy in Brazil, of course, overcomes obstacles to play soccer -- the "game" in question -- as we follow him on his colorful journey through the favela of Vidigal near Rio de Janeiro.

The video is a short film titled "Pixote’s Game" and is definitely fitting for the uplifting anthem. If you're a Spike Lee fan, you can catch some of his signature cinematic shots and filters in the video, but no sign of Rowland herself. Although she's not in the video, "The Game" is a part of the Pepsi-curated compilation Beats of the Beautiful Game, which was released on Tuesday just in time for the soccer festivities. I'm sure Rowland loves the video just as much as we do considering she has a little munchkin on the way herself.
