Mélat Takes Her 'Love So High'

We've had the privilege to lounge in the '90s hip-hop fused, "Fanclub," wander down the synthesized hallways of "nevr" and even hop into a time machine to revisit one of Britney Spears' greatest hits, and now we're down to the wire with Mélat and her Side B project. She closes things out wonderfully with "Love So High," a Pha Phantom-produced experiment that makes prime use of her velvety vocals, allowing them to seductively crawl and soothe a rough riding hip-hop beat that features a chopped and screwed interpolation of Sonique's 1999 smash "It Feels So Good" (this song is sure getting a lot dust blown off of it lately). Don't think for a blink that Mélat's slowing her roll down just yet, as the Austinite is turning another musical chapter with her upcoming Move Me project, soon to arrive at a later calendar date this year. For now, get your high off of this slow jammy jam, and experience the Side B project in full via SoundCloud.
