American Express continues its UNSTAGED concert series tonight with a special live performance by Pharrell Williams in New York City. So what makes this Pharrell performance so different than all of the others we've seen recently? Well, this one will be directed by famed filmmaker Spike Lee and shot on location at the world famous Apollo Theatre in Harlem. For those of us who can't make it to NYC for the festivities, American Express will have us covered with a live stream of UNSTAGED kicking off this evening at 9 pm EST/6 pm PST on AmexUNSTAGED.com (which will redirect you to YouTube).
Pharrell's UNSTAGED follows previous concert extravaganzas by Usher and John Legend with The Roots and should be equally, if not more, entertaining with Spike behind the camera.
