The much anticipated trailer for Fifty Shades of Grey was finally released today, and whether you're a fan of the book or not, you'll care because Beyoncé. King B, who really can do no wrong, musically at least, turned her own "Crazy In Love" upside down and smacked it into submission for the S&M-inspired film. Unlike the 2003 version of the track, this remake has Beyoncé purring and growling throughout, giving us goosebumps in areas we'd prefer not to discuss. From what we can hear in the trailer, which is honestly just a tease, the haunting vocals and almost sinister feel of the track provide the perfect backdrop for the scintillating scenes.
Beyoncé is no stranger to providing music for movies, but this remake, or at least the snippet, matches the same edge exhibited on her surprise self-titled album. We'll have to wait until Valentine's Day 2015 to see the film, but we can only hope that Yoncé releases the full "Fifty Shade of Bey" version of soon. In the meantime, you can get your rocks off to the film's trailer right here with the first look of Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson in action as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, and get some aural pleasure from Beyoncé's flipped and stripped-down "Crazy In Love."
