Brave Williams’ “Oooh (Luv Ya)” already had summertime flair, playful appeal and grown-woman confidence. But now the song from her forthcoming album, Fearless, has a music video, and all three get intensified and complemented with a little sex appeal. Of course, a little might be an understatement.
Throughout the clip, Brave showcases four seasonal around-the-way girl looks. Whether she’s brushing off the guys walking down the street or hanging with her homegirls at the beach, she manages to stay stylish. A little dance here and there doesn’t hurt, keeping the feel-good party vibe of the song in the forefront. And how about the body flaunting? Yep, there’s plenty to be found in “Oooh (Luv Ya),” with most of it being kept classy.
Given the spirit of the tune, it was a little bit of a surprise to see Williams take the sexy path when it came to visuals, especially given the solid, hit-stamped vocal delivery and appeal that “Oooh” presents. Still, things don’t get out of hand and the decidedly different approach still keeps the key elements of the song intact. This is one clip that’s sure to get queued up as the summer months come to a close.
