It seems we can't keep Jennifer Hudson's name off our fingertips today. After lacing us with the hotness that is her latest single "Dangerous" this morning, JHud stopped by NBC's TODAY to perform the track, along with previous release "It's Your World" and the song that launched her career, "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going," for an expectant New York Crowd.
Despite the early call time, Jennifer gave the crowd all kinds of energy as she worked it all the way out on the stage, commanding the crowd with her vocals as her dancers strutted their stuff on the stage. She kicked off her performance with "It's Your World," singing both her and R. Kelly's parts for the crowd and making it all look far too easy. Then she performed the fan selected "And I Am Telling You." She made that one look effortless as well, belting notes with force and power without so much as creasing her forehead in the process.
She saved "Dangerous" for last, hyping up the crowd before hitting them with the uptempo number. While she was able to recreate some of the chorus' harmonies with her background singers, she still managed to pull of a solid showing of the track, even adding some horns into mix and walking through the crowd for good measure.
Just in case you weren't up at the crack of dawn to catch TODAY, we're bringing the performance to you. Check out JHud doing her thing in three clips from this morning's show right here.
