Kimbra Is The 'Miracle' You Need Today

Kimbra's eccentric coolness is to be electrified today as her long-anticipated sophomore set, The Golden Echo, has finally been unleashed. Packed to the brim with crunchy eclectic grooves, it's already coasting to the top pile of my personal favorites of 2014, but for those wanting a smooth sailing sound experience probably need to navigate to other shores as Kimbra brings the pop artistry. "Miracle" is one of the easier tracks to dive into on The Golden Echo, and it's quite wise for Kimbra to release it as a single since the album's first single, "90s Music" put most folks at the dividing line.

We already fell in love with the joyful mirrored ball noise that is "Miracle" so it wasn't difficult to fall hard for the song's visual where Kimbra makes the streets of New York into her own private disco floor complete with dancing mimes and joggers. Debuting exclusively on Refinery 29 today, the video takes some cues from Bjork's "It's Oh So Quiet" visual and the glaringly the infamous 500 Days Of Summer dance break, but we can bet that Kimbra swirling around in a ruby red bedazzled frock looking like an extra from the "Green, Red, and Gold" segment of The Wiz will get you beaming bright by vid's end. If listening to The Golden Echo won't be enough for you, you can see Kimbra's kooky cabaret live as she'll be hitting a few select cities on tour in the near future.
