The person whom had the biggest buzz around their appearance at the 2014 Summer Spirit Festival was, of course, Ms. Lauryn Hill. The singer/rapper had many at the Columbia, MD venue holding their breath to see if she'd be late or show up at all on August 2, 2014. Thankfully Ms. Hill was present and accounted for and performed a spirited set of her solo records, hits with the Fugees and covers of artists. The song may not have sounded the same, whether they were sped up or slowed down, but one thing was for sure: Lauryn Hill is here to stay.
