Faith Evans and Missy Elliott are continuing to make it hot with the brand new video for “I Deserve It,” which premiered online on VH1 and features many celebrities who have appeared on the channel. With the help of Elliott’s protégé Sharaya J as well as a host of cameos from the likes of Terrell Owens, Stevie J, Joseline, Keke Wyatt, Traci Steele and even Ice JJ Fish, Evans turns her new single into the soundtrack for a remake of the club scene in famed 1988 comedy film Coming To America. Both Evans and Elliott find the time to remind us just what we love most about them individually as they join forces for the first time since their 2002 collaboration “Burnin’ Up.” While Faith and Missy are looking better than ever bopping to this uptempo jam, Sharaya manages to handle all the choreography for the night and does quite well while spitting some impressive bars.
Details on the rest of Evan’s forthcoming sixth studio album, Incomparable, are still a bit scarce, but we’re all patiently waiting for more information on the return of the original first lady of Bad Boy and one of our favorite R&B Divas.
