The British are dominating this soul music thing, and Andreya Triana is definitely someone we're keeping our eyes and ears on. In her latest offering, "Everything You Never Hard Pt. II," the London songstress slows things down a tad from the original club banger she recorded with Breach. Her version changes the mood completely from a celebration to lamentation. With her full, smoky vocals, Andreya pours her heart into the track and sings, "I think you're something that I want to be / Your arms of love around me / I'm coming home, I'm coming home / Cause you gave me everything that you never had." An earnest single, the track boasts a prominent piano and sentimental violins, which makes for a complete package.
Andreya's voice wraps its arms around us as we listen to the song, giving us comfort in the fact that she's also coming out with a new album soon. We also get some bonus love in the form of another single "Super Love," which features Miguel Atwood-Ferguson on strings. If you like Andreya's solo version of "Everything You Never Hard Pt. II," and it gives you everything, you can get more by buying it on iTunes or listening to it below.
