Rochelle Jordan Is A 'Playa 4 Life'

Canadian songstress Rochelle Jordan rarely disappoints, lacing us with hotness like her EPs R O J O and P R E S S U R E and her recent string of singles that have '90s R&B heads and new school listeners nodding their heads alike. And she keeps up the hot streak with her latest single, "Playa 4 Life." Like many of Rochelle's previous outings, the singer comes with a '90s-based sound for the track, though she makes sure to rope in the young'ns with some modern flourishes as well.

Over the mellow smooth groove that packs more bump than a little bit, Rochelle explains why it's a "real damn shame" for any man trying to win her affections. You see, she gave her heart to a guy once, and he was a bit reckless with it. As a result, there's an icebox where RoJo's heart used to be and she's not interested in getting all lovey dovey. Not even a hot 16 from rap up-and-comer IamSu! is enough to thaw her emotions, as she's made her mind up to play the game just like the boys do.

As if her new single wasn't enough, Rochelle also dropped news of her first full-length album, 1021, which — surprise, surprise — is expected to land in stores sometime this fall (!!!). While we prepare to give the feisty fro'd singer all of our money, check out yet another superb RoJo track when you listen to "Playa 4 Life" below.
