The video for "Eternal Lie," directed by Robin T. Peters, features Swedish singers Mathias Loidimo Siroiney and Sarah Verdier as DANIELA’s philandering husband and back-stabbing friend, respectively. As the couple host a dinner party, DANIELA begins to notice things are a little too cozy with hubby and Ms. Steal Your Man. The final straw comes when her man and girlfriend conveniently excuse themselves from the dinner table at almost the same time. As the wife goes to investigate, she discovers the sordid truth of what she suspected all along. Rather than lose her cool and go ballistic (let’s face it, she could’ve easily grabbed a knife from the kitchen and gone all Teri from Soul Food after peeping Cousin Faith and Miles bumpin’ uglies), she calmly goes back to playing the gracious hostess. You’ll want to stick around until the end, though, because that final scene?! -- real slick.
There's no word on when we can expect more music from the captivating young singer, but here’s hoping a debut album, or at least more new singles and videos as good as this, will be forthcoming from DANIELA.
