Nicole Scherzinger has been dropping singles with rapid fire intensity. While some have been less than stellar, at least one of her recent releases, a ballad titled "Run," has some serious potential. She sticks with the song in her recently released video, a raw look at the singer at her most vulnerable.
The video does a perfect job of capturing the emotional intensity of the song, allowing Scherzinger the space to showcase her vocal abilities, as well as her natural beauty. She keeps it simple for the video for the stripped-down number as she tearily roams the halls of an expansive estate. Just as the song, the video doesn't rely on any distractions, flashy tricks or guest appearances, instead placing the full attention solely on Scherzinger and her voice.
"Run" is taken from the singer's sophomore effort, Big Fat Lie, which is currently available overseas and is slated to be released stateside sometime in 2015. As we've said before, we hope that the album features more songs that allow her to showcase her soaring vocal range such as this.
