Where does Brayton Bowman find the time to sleep? It seems like just yesterday we were introducing the Philly crooner to all you SoulBouncers, and ever since we took in the first hello that was the fresh future funk of "Jaywalk," he's continued to knock on our door with brand new material in tow. Bowman comes calling once again with the brand new EP, Here | Now, and though light in content, it's heavy in quality.

You'll recognize from jump the brilliant, "Jaywalk" as it kick starts the four-track set off. "Runaway" and its funky bass licks follows next, still sounding as ripe as when it appeared back in early October. New to the ears is the Dear John letter of "Stephen" where Bowman flexes his versatile tone and blows hot and cold about a past love affair, sounding anguished and forgiving in all the right doses. For the pick-me-up, "Ride Or Die" trips across a synth fantastic as it surges with Daft Punk Discovery-era intensity that gets amplified to the hilt during an exciting tangled climax. Bowman manages to keep up the pace as he unleashes his crackling set of pipes during the songs peak moments with ease. After one listen, there shouldn't be any qualms about Bowman's mesmeric musicality, so if you haven't made its acquaintance yet, you better extend a hand towards Here | Now and become aware.

Here | Now is available for stream and for free download via Bowman's SoundCloud spot.
