Mariah Carey Struggles Through 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' At 2014 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting

While some of us were out trying to find justice, Mariah Carey was trying to find her pitch. Usually on hand to entertain for the holidays, the diva performed "All I Want For Christmas Is You" live at the 2014 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony last night. Although she looked beautiful decked in a shiny red dress, her vocals on the other hand paled in comparison. We hear the songstress was supposed to pre-record the performance on Tuesday but failed to arrive, so she was forced to perform the song live on Wednesday night. While her vocals sounded somewhat promising in the beginning of the performance, they gradually declined and she warbled her way through the rest of the track.

With super cute kids donned in all white dancing around her and background vocalists who honestly deserve raises, all was well until Mariah attempted a few high notes. At that point, all we wanted for Christmas was for her to stop. To add insult to injury, a number of outlets have posted her isolated vocals so we can hear just how much the songstress struggled through the song. While most of us still enjoy the original song, it's unrealistic to expect it to sound the same after 20 years of singing to Kris Kringle. We'll let you be the judge, though, so watch Mariah's "All I Want For Christmas Is You" and let us know if Santa put her vocals on the nice or naughty list.
