Stacy Barthe joins the roster of artists giving us teasers in 2014 by giving us a few tracks from her upcoming LP BEcoming. Stacy gives us three snippets and three full tracks that sound so sweet we almost feel a little spoiled. The Brooklyn-bred songstress and producer uses her velvety smooth vocals to detail her growth and struggles on tracks like “Hey You There” and “Eyes Wide Shut” and her spirit and heart on tracks such "You Wonder Why," where she sings in French, and "Live For Today," which features our conscious friend CommonMalay and John Legend executive produced the album and Benny Cassette and DJ Camper also round up the production team for BEcoming, which is a mix of R&B, soul and even a little old school flair. Stacy also gives us the track "Flawed Beautiful Creatures," which you've probably heard on her EP, P.S. I Love You and on BET's Being Mary Jane.

To add more syrup to an already sweet situation, Stacy also released the full version of her refix of Anita Baker's "Angel" with Legend, which we only got a taste of on his album Love In the Future. If you're feeling what Stacy is bringing to the table, then you can actually download most of the sampler on her SoundCloud. From where we're sitting, it looks like she's blossoming into an amazing solo artist and we can't wait for her debut album, which she'll release on Legend's Homeschool label and Motown Records. Let us know if you're feeling the artist Stacy is BEcoming when you check out the sampler of her upcoming album.
