Common and John Legend just snagged a Golden Globe for Best Original Song for their single "Glory," and they've been celebrating their win ever since. Because the stars aligned and perfect timing makes all the difference, they just released the visuals for the award-winning single, and it's as classy as their act. The video switches between scenes from the movie Selma, featuring actors David Oyelowo, Oprah Winfrey and, of course, Common, and scenes of the Chi-town rapper and John Legend performing the song. The video is somber yet hopeful, every scene and image telling the story of Martin Luther King Jr.'s journey to Selma, Alabama with Common and John Legend telling the story of the journey we're on now.

Common and Legend made the perfect pair to headline the Selma soundtrack, and we can only hope to see more collaborations from the two. If you haven't seen Ava DuVernay's Selma yet, "Glory" may just be the motivator to drive you to the cinema. While we wait to see what other awards they sweep, watch the video for "Glory" right here and feel free to purchase the single on iTunes or Amazon.
