Jimmy Cozier is someone who we haven't heard from in a while, but the singer/songwriter is still making music and apparently on the comeback trail. His return to the scene may not be as epic as D'Angelo, but he's holding his own on his new song, "Choose Me," and in its accompanying music video. Cozier gets an assist from Shaggy who adds his brand of Jamaican spice to the reggae-tinged tune and the visuals.
On "Choose Me," Cozier sings about a young lady who's a choosy lover, and he wants to make sure that he's the last man standing. This gal is the center of attention wherever she goes and has options galore, but he's convinced that he's the one for her and vice versa. The song is catchy, and the music may lead you to whine up your waist once the riddims get to you. The partial island setting of the music video may also have you searching Trivago for a trip deal to the Caribbean to soak up some sun on a sandy beach like Jimmy and his leading lady.
