Vocal virtuosa Ledisi is already a big ball of sunshine, so it's not that hard to imagine what a joy she is to wake up to. If you happened to catch yesterday's edition of venerable ABC morning show Good Morning America, then you go to do just that. The singer was on hand to give a few performances throughout the two-hour show and even had a brief interview with host Robin Roberts in promotion of her current The Intimate Truth Tour.
While on the set, we got tastes of some of the songs that Ledisi has become known for, including "I Blame You" and a stirring snippet of "Take My Hand, Precious Lord." But when it came time for her to get more than a few moments to shine, the floral-jumpsuit clad songstress kicked off a rousing version of The Truth track "Rock With You." The singer ripped into the song with aplomb, swinging and swaying with the band while captivating the audience at home with come hither stares. If you didn't know that Led could rock it, then she gave everyone a reason to believe.
