Van Hunt treated us to a funky little surprise we he gifted us with the sexy little number "Vega (stripes on)." The track, the lead single from his upcoming album, The Fun Rises, The Fun Sets, finds Van in the space he usually is, contemplating love, sex and relationships through his own unconventional lens.
While the track itself is a lusty, fun romp, the video itself is also a bit unconventional. Rather than ruminate on the object of his affections or linger longingly on the female form, the clip takes it back a bit and shows Van lacing up his roller skates to jam in the park. As he glides and strides on the concrete, photos and some footage of Van goofing off in the studio are shown, solidifying the clip's quirky vibe. It's an interesting collage that brings out the vibe of the song in the best way possible as it complements the track rather than distracts from it.
If you haven't pre-ordered your copy of The Fun Rises, The Fun Sets, it's not too late.
