Jill Scott joined the league of soulful women who performed at Black Girls Rock! 2015 to sing her latest blues-inspired single "You Don’t Know." Jilly from Philly showed up on stage draped in a metallic blue and silver wrap-gown and spoke to everyone's heart as she sang her pain on stage. Wowing the audience with her soul-stirring notes in the first minute, the songstress played the part of a fiery blues singer and never broke her stance. Jill sang the song with passion and her impeccable vocals, which held strong like the tears at the brink of her eyes the entire performance. Unlike her video, Jill was anchored by three female background singers, who added perfectly to the dramatic performance.
Of course, Jill had to leave the Black Girls Rock! audience with a little something at the end of her performance as she took her sweet time and last breath to belt out the final words of the song.
