However, the singer-songwriter is showing his fans and people with a sweet tooth that he's about that philanthropic life as well by raising money for children in need. In honor of National Foster Care Month, the “She Knows” crooner has teamed up with Sprinkles Cupcakes to support children living in foster care and group homes.
Ne-Yo flexed his skills in the kitchen, or at least his palette as a taste tester, to develop a Strawberry Cheesecake cupcake to support the event. The limited-edition treat features a graham cracker-lined strawberry cake topped with luscious cream frosting. If that description is making your mouth water, you can pick one up at Sprinkles bakeries or ATMs nationwide.
100% of the proceeds from this very special bake sale will go towards The Compound Foundation, a charity Ne-Yo founded with his business partner Reynell Hay to enhance the well-being of youth growing up in foster care and group homes. You have from now until May 31st to help make a difference in the life of a foster child in need, one sweet treat at a time.
