See What Lenny Kravitz's 'Sex' Is All About

When he's not busy being ridiculously sexy himself, rock star Lenny Kravitz is singing about sex. He just unveiled the visuals for his single "Sex" from his latest album Strut, and we're just overjoyed to see him on our screens. This is the third single and music video from his album, following "The Chamber" and "New York City," and we were wondering what concept he'd lace "Sex" with. Directed by Dikayl Rimmasch, the video is inspired by filmmaker Frederico Fellini and filmed to resemble vintage European b-roll during a photo shoot.

While we get the behind the scenes of the shoot, Lenny sings in front of an old school mic while flanked by two topless Asian dancers in school uniforms. Not surprising right? Well, once the photo shoot is well under way, we start noticing its crew is made up of Catholic priests, choir boys and nuns. The song is about getting a little down and dirty with it, but the visuals incorporate the seemingly clean and pure from the church. While he goes through a few outfit changes, which include the singer wearing more than we'd prefer, he has an audience of a pope and high priests most likely judging Lenny and his lyrics until a blonde bombshell with a whip and a wayward goat enter the picture and get their attention. Confused yet? Join the club.

When he's not filming freaky European-inspired videos, Kravitz can be found rocking the stage. Lenny has one more U.S. tour date on May 15th in Los Angeles before he starts his European tour on June 12th in Hamburg, Germany and ends in Gdansk, Poland on August 6th.
