Last week we gave you the inside scoop on Hidden Beach's plans to celebrate their 15th anniversary with a compilation of our favorite Jill Scott tracks on the new greatest hits collection, Golden Moments. In addition to 15 Jilly favorites, the label is including the previously unreleased track "I Adore You," and they've released a snippet of the song to get us primed for the album release on June 16th.
While we saw quite a bit of activity from Hidden Beach, we had seen not one promotional tweet, Instagram post or Facebook comment about Golden Moments from the songstress herself. Well, that's because Jilly from Philly apparently isn't on board with this release, and she took to Twitter to share her thoughts with fans.
Tickles me. I'm watching this "label" sell old socks they've already sold years ago. Find something new to do. Adore that.

Welp! Whether this is a reflection of the decade Jill spent with "this label," shade is shade is shade and those Golden Moments may not be as bright as we thought.
Jill's side-eye aside, "I Adore You" was produced by Philly production duo Carvin & Ivan, and it's a pleasant track featuring her effortless vocals serenading us and easily nudging us to cop the compilation album to add to our collections. We're always happy to take a stroll down memory lane, especially when it comes to Jill Scott, so we'll look out for the music video that Hidden Beach is cobbling together with fan photos for "I Adore You" and wait to see if Jill ends up adoring it herself.
