Just in case Lianne La Havas didn’t make your heart melt with the music video for her latest single “Unstoppable,” she’s taking you on a special behind-the-scenes look at the making of the song itself. This lovely but short video starts off with a few glimpses at the instruments used in the studio, while Lianne discusses the song’s beginning stages. The camera pans up as she details the way that Paul Epworth presented her a shell of the song and how they immediately built the song up to be what it is today. Ms. La Havas may have reached a place where she is over her ex lover, but in writing this song she came to the realization that deep inside she feels that if they were to join forces again that they would be able to stick it out for the long run.

“Unstoppable” comes as the sweet introduction to La Hava’s sophomore album Blood, in which she references here as her “statement of intent.” “I want to stay doing what I’m doing, and I want to be in the consciousness of everyone as this artist that I am becoming,” she says. Blood hits stores everywhere on July 31st, but you can pre-order a digital copy via iTunes and a vinyl copy via Lianne’s website now.
