After finally announcing the release date for upcoming album Calling All Lovers, Tamartians all over the world can rejoice again because Tamar Braxton just dropped the lyric video for her latest single "If I Don't Have You." While Tamar's lyrics aren't the hardest to learn, it's just another reason for fans to belt out the romantic single and have their own personal karaoke session. The lyric video, featuring a mix of black and white newspaper clippings and colorful, fluid graphics as the backdrop for her sappy lyrics, will help fans properly prepare for her fourth studio album, which is set to be released on July 31st. The single, produced by Da Internz and co-written by Tiyon “TC” Christian, reminds us that ballads were indeed made for Tamar and her flawless vocal cords.
While we hear quite a bit of Tamar on The Real and have a stuffed video vault of her quips and one-liners on Braxton Family Values, we look forward to hearing more from the songstress on her new album. If we can't have more of Tamar's music, we're not sure what we'll do, but in the meantime we're going to study the lyric video and serve up our best Tamar impressions.
