Tiyon “TC” Christian is taking a break from writing for the likes of Tamar Braxton, Jennifer Lopez, Justin Bieber and Brandy to step into a spotlight of his own. In the past he has released a host of mixtapes and cover songs, but this time around he is releasing his debut single “Designer” and re-introducing himself to the world. Like most artists, TC is taking his hurt and frustration with a past love and using it as fuel and lyrical content for his music. “Designer” finds him wishing he hadn’t given his love away for free. “You treat him like he’s Gucci / When I’m the one you should flaunt,” he sings, relating relationships to designer labels.
By listening to his extensive resume of the hits that he has penned, you should already know that both his lyrical and vocal prowess are unmatched. His vocal choices and the way that he rides this beat are absolutely astounding. Only TC knows what he has in store, but we can only hope that it’s an album full of this type of musical wizardry.
