Back in April, we brought you the American debut of the talented Nao Yoshioka with her dynamic single "Make the Change." The lead single from her album The Light, its mellow groove had us instantly falling in love with the Japanese songstress. After making a stop at The Soul Factory Presents at NYC's BB King Blues Club, the chanteuse brings us the song's official video.
Rather than muddy everything up with a busy visual, Nao instead opts to give us exactly what we want: her. The majority of the clip features her in a tight closeup standing in front of one of the most beautiful sunrises we've ever seen and then again in shadow as night takes over the city. And while just those two scenes would be enough for the dreamy, jazzy number, she also treats us to an impromptu session with her band, shot in a cinematic black and white that'll remind you of neo soul videos in the late '90s. The clip is a perfect accompaniment to the easy going feel of the song and is sure to pique your interest in Nao even further.
