Like many of you, the past few days (weeks, even) have left us feeling heated -- and it ain't just because of the 90-plus degree weather we've been having, either. With tensions and temperatures rising, we can't help but think Temika Moore is right on time with her new single "Every Word."
Written and produced by the artist herself, this breezy, uplifting tune is like cool water for our collective thirsty soul. Filled with spirited percussion, plucky bass, lively acoustic guitar and Rhodes, we happily got caught in the rhythmic sway of Larry Mack's instrumental arrangement. Meanwhile, Ms. Moore's crisp, vibrant vocals are radiating positivity and giving us life as she sings (and scats) of the source of her strength and guidance. You can catch Temika live in her hometown, opening for Bilal's CD release show and the first In Another Life World Tour stop at World Cafe Live in Philadelphia on June 30th.
