Joss Stone has been everywhere lately, promoting the upcoming release of her seventh studio album, Water For Your Soul. So far, we've been digging the eclectic vibe of the album previews, from the sarod embellishments in "Stuck on You" to the Caribbean rhythms of "The Answer." And the cheerful exuberance displayed in the video for the latter made us smile and break out into a free-spirited dance.

Yet, the singer is equally as engaging without hefty accompaniment as evidenced by a recent exclusive performance for SBTV. Stone gave a stirring acoustic rendition of "Stuck on You," a tune she recently described as "probably my favourite song on the album." Accompanied by the emotive strains of a guitar, she slows the pace a bit, allowing the depth of the lyrics to penetrate your soul while the vocal interplay with background vocalist Michelle John further enhances the stripped-down performance.

Then on Wednesday night, Joss stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! for an entertaining performance of the song that was closer to the studio version. Backed with a band and two background vocalists, Joss kept the energy high by blessing the crowd with a second performance, the ska-flavored "Molly Town." The song was inspired by the love story of a couple she met at an Irish pub named Molly's during a month-long stay in France. It was a great way to warm up the Cali crowd for her amazing concert at LA's Fonda Theatre last night.
