By all accounts, Alessia Cara is having a pretty good summer. Her outlier anthem "Here" is steadily gaining momentum, she recently made her television debut (backed by The Roots, no less) on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and she's just two weeks away from the release of her debut EP, Four Pink Walls.
As she continues to make promotional rounds (including a stop at BBC Radio 1) and prepare for an upcoming tour, she recently stopped by the Vevo DSCVR studio for a live performance of her debut single. Alessia is definitely in her element here and brings the lyrics to life with a nuanced vocal delivery. No gimmicks, nothing fancy, just a talented young woman singing her song.
