Since Control, most of Janet's music has been produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, in addition to a few of their old band mates in The Time. However, after completing The Velvet Rope, Janet felt comfortable branching out to new producers. She reached out to The Neptunes, Basement Jaxx, Teddy Riley, Swizz Beatz and a number of other producers who were popular at the time. However, there was one producer no one could have expected that made the final cut.

Hip hop producer, Dana Stinson better known as Rockwilder, drew Jackson’s attention after producing the Redman and Method Man track “Da Rockwilder.” Rockwilder had been honing his production chops in the New York hip hop scene for years before gaining notoriety for producing Jay Z's "Do It Again (Put Ya Hands Up) and Busta Rhymes and Erykah Badu's "One." Calls were made, schedules were set and the emerging producer was in the studio with Janet, Jimmy and Terry working on the All For You album.

Collaborating with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Rockwilder contributed to four tracks on All Four You, including the uptempo jam “Come On Get Up.” While Rockwilder isn’t known for contributing to any award-winning tracks or hit singles, many of the songs he worked on are passionately remembered by Janet fans.
