Two Real Housewives of Atlanta castmembers collaborating on a project? Sounds like a catfight in the making, right? In actuality, it's all fun and games for former RHOA star Demetria McKinney and cast mainstay Kandi Burruss as they come together for Demetria's song and video "Unnecessary Trouble." The track, which is inspired by some of the drama that Demetria landed in during her Season 7 tenure on the famed reality show, finds the duo somewhat arguing about man issues — namely Kandi's advice on what Demetria should do about her man. Of course Ms. McKinney isn't here for any of it, and she tells Kandi so over a bouncy R&B beat.
For the track's visual, they decide to poke a little fun at their Housewives history. They appear on Watch Me Now!, a riff on Andy Cohen's after show Watch What Happens Live!, as they discuss the issues they have with one another. It doesn't take long, however, before we're on a candy-colored video set as the two ladies get ultra-glam while they hash out their differences. Along the way, they stand back-to-back on a rotating female symbol, encounter some chiseled chocolate dancers and even get a visit from fellow RHOA alum Claudia Jordan. Ultimately, the women playfully decide to drop their "beef" and unite in sisterhood.
