Lianne La Havas had a pretty good 2015, if we can say so ourselves. After enchanting the masses with the beauty of her single "Unstoppable," the British songstress delighted fans and critics alike with her sophomore album Blood. The set housed some of the most gorgeous soul to be found on both sides of the pond and helped solidify that Lianne is an artist that indeed has staying power. "Green & Gold," one of the more lush tracks available on the collection, recently got the remix treatment from The Social Experiment's Donnie Trumpet and Nate Fox, and it's something you'll definitely want to hear.

Expanding upon the simple guitar of the original, Donnie and Nate play with the song's calm as they pull the focus to Lianne's soft rasp on the verse. Their instrumentation, from the drums to the horns, is fairly muted, making the nostalgic song sound even more wistful. Add to that the echo-y effect that's applied throughout and we have a surefire winner.

Lianne has been thrilling audiences all over the world in promotion of Blood and is set to bring her #BlackGirlMagic back Stateside on a solo tour this February. Unfortunately, if you don't already have a ticket to her shows, which will find her hitting up eight stops across the East Coast and California, you're out of luck. All the shows have sold out. If you're part of the unfortunate number that won't get to witness Lianne live this go 'round, take solace in Donnie and Nate's dreamy remix below.
