Ahead of her new EP Aviary: Act II, Bounce-Worthy phenomenon Eryn Allen Kane is hitting the TV circuit with her unique brand of spiritual soul to promote her new project. Yesterday, the Chicago-based singer joined Windy City LIVE to perform her latest track "How Many Times." Decked in all black with no shoes, and accompanied by a full band and background singers, Eryn shed her seemingly shy outer shell once the music started. Belting out the poignant lyrics, the singer addresses the senseless murders and violence that have occurred, pleading and asking with her powerhouse voice when it will finally stop. Her performance leaves you wanting more and also wanting the answer to her increasingly relevant question.
From what we've heard of the songstress so far, including one of the Best Songs of 2015, we can't wait until her new EP drops on February 2nd. Though she's the new kid on the block, she's quickly gained momentum and buzz with her undeniable talent after working with Prince, performing with Chance The Rapper and starring in Spike Lee's Chi-Raq. If you want to hear more from Eryn, check our her 2015 EP Aviary: Act I over on SoundCloud.
