Bridget Kelly Puts Up A Fight To Show She's 'Not Afraid'

Songstress Bridget Kelly had a pretty eventful summer last year. She had a hot little collaboration with Mack Wilds called "Act Like That" and, more importantly, dropped her latest EP, Summer of 17. However, outside of that single, she's managed to keep a relatively low profile. She's back though, and with a new set of visuals in tow as well. In light of it being Women's History Month and today being International Women's Day, Bridget releases the inspirational video for her single "Not Afraid."

"Not Afraid" is all about resilience as she though she might be faced with adversity, she's not gonna be one to back down or falter. The video brings that sentiment to life by telling the story of a woman pursuing an out of the norm dream. Rather than be the ballerina her family expects, she instead takes her own path and is in training to become a boxer. Bridget of course appears throughout the clip to narrate with her lyrics, rocking blonde locks and enormous gold hoop earrings with 'round the way girl flair like only a native New Yorker can. Eventually we see our potential boxing phenom land her first big fight. Does she knock out the competition?

We'll leave that for you to find out (though we will warn that it will tug at your heartstrings). Check out "Not Afraid" right here and be sure to pick up Summer of 17 on iTunes now.
