It's been a minute since we last heard from soulful house maven Lisa Shaw. Well, we can consider that musical drought officially over thanks to her new song "I Can See It." On the track, Shaw reconnects with frequent collaborator Miguel Migs for this deep house number that is sure to send listeners running to the dance floor. Migs' thumping beat provides the perfect backdrop to Shaw's delicate vocals. The song feels both familiar and new at the same time, giving fans a much-needed dose of what we've come to expect from Shaw. We're not quite sure how this one slipped passed us considering it was released back in April, but we are happy that it finally found its way to us all the same.

On the flip side, Migs also drops a "Deluxe Dub" version of the song, which features a harder, driving beat and a simple, repeated refrain of "You've changed your mind / I can see it." The song marks her return to the Migs' Salted label, which was behind her last release 2009's Free. It's not easy to tell if "I Can See It" will be followed by her long-awaited third solo album, but if this song is any indication, then it'll be well worth the wait.
