The hottest thing in Atlanta over Memorial Day Weekend wasn't the weather, but it was the 2nd Annual ATL Soul Life Music Festival. After Syleena Johnson, Anthony David, Eric Roberson, Robert Glasper Experiment and Lalah Hathaway owned the stage on day one, day two had even more entertainment in store. Kicking it all off was Rahsaan Patterson who began his set on a high note with a cover of Prince's "Pop Life." From that unexpected yet exciting start, he hopscotched around his own catalog of classics.

Rahsaan sang his catchy tune "Crazy (Baby)" from 2011's Bleuphoria before falling back to "Any Other Love" from 1999's Love In Stereo. He took fans even deeper into his catalog to his self-titled debut album with the sensual yearn of "Spend the Night" and the innocent longing of "Where You Are." After only six songs, Rahsaan Patterson's short but sweet set came to an end, but he set the bar high for the day's acts to follow.
