British R&B chanteuse Terri Walker delivered last year when she offered up her album Entitled. The set delivered a few standout cuts, which is probably why she's been able to spin off four singles from the project. In fact she's just released a video for the project's fourth single, "Lose Twice."
"Lose Twice," which is all about perseverance and self-determination, has a throwback feel thanks to production that makes the song sound like it was created in the mid-'90s. Terri plays of that feel quite well with the Frost-directed visuals. Picking up on some the era's best music video tropes, including Terri in a studio with her producer as she lays down the track and sitting amongst the people as she belts out the song's lyrics. You'd think the such a simple approach wouldn't be interesting, but Terri manages to keep your attention with her winning personality as she slyly looks at the camera, a smile on her lips and a sparkle in her eye.
With Entitled having been released over a year ago, it's almost safe to say that this might be the last visual that we get from the record. Thankfully, it's a good one. You can check it out below, and if you haven't already, pick up your copy of Entitled now.
