We returned to the Malibu Beach Inn to recharge our batteries and do some serious some chillaxing in front of the in-room fireplace with the sound of waves crashing onto the shore below. (Yes, it was as heavenly as it sounds.) The next morning, it was time for day two of our adventure, and we kicked it off with a tasty brunch at the hotel's restaurant, the Carbon Beach Club, followed by presentations from Chevrolet and Pandora. Next on the agenda was dividing into groups to get ready for the drive from Malibu into Hollywood and filming it all. We were paired up with J.Boogie and Datwon (who nicknamed our group Lucy Pearl...LOL), and taken to a slick 2016 Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid in Silver Ice Metallic that was outfitted with multiple GoPro cameras to record us. After taking a few ussies and photos of the cars and soaking up all the Malibu sunshine we could, it was finally time to hit the road to Hollywood.

Our fleet of 2016 Chevrolet Malibu Hybrids pulled onto the PCH, and we were on the way. J.Boogie was behind the wheel of our car. Bless his heart for driving in all the traffic that we encountered, but he handled it like a champ. With three music heads in the car, the conversation naturally turned in that direction, and we discussed our favorite artists, concerts and experiences and the impact music has had on our lives and society. Everyone else engaged in similar dialogue in their respective cars on the way into the city. To get a taste of some of the convos that were had as we drove from Malibu to L.A., watch the second part of our A Journey Into Sound experience, The Drive:
